Empowering the Underprivileged: AFPS's Noble Mission

Delhi Education Minister Atishi congratulated the successful students and highlighted the AFPS's significant role in providing opportunities to children from underprivileged backgrounds to become military officers and serve the nation. She encouraged the students who cleared the NDA exam to perform their best in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) recruitment exam.

The AFPS's Mission and Focus

Established by the Kejriwal government just last year, the Armed Forces Preparatory School (AFPS) is dedicated to the holistic development of students aspiring to become armed forces officers. The school provides free education and residential facilities to its students, aiming to nurture future leaders in the defense forces.

Spread over 14 acres and recognized by the Delhi Board of School Education, the AFPS currently has a total enrollment of 237 students. Notably, among the 76 students who appeared in the NDA exam from the school's Class 12, 32 have achieved this remarkable feat. The AFPS's commitment to fostering leadership and excellence among its students continues to bear fruit, strengthening the nation's defense forces.
