MP Board Result 2023 Date: MPBSE 10th, 12th results tentatively on May 25
The tentative date for the release of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) class 10th and 12th results for 2023 is expected to be between May 20 and 25, according to reports. However, an official confirmation is still awaited. Once the results are announced, students can check their MP Board 10th and 12th results for 2023 by visiting the official websites at mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in. It is important for students to have their admit cards ready to access the results. To view their online mark sheet, candidates will need to enter their roll number and date of birth.
Reports suggest that approximately 19 lakh students appeared for the MP board exams this year. The state school education minister, Inder Singh Parmar, is expected to declare the results in a press conference organized by the board officials. The class 10 exams were conducted by MPBSE from March 1 to March 27, while the class 12 exams took place from March 2 to April 5. To pass the exams, students must achieve a minimum of 33 percent marks in each subject.
MPBSE follows a marking scheme where candidates are evaluated out of 100 marks for each subject, with 80 marks awarded based on theory paper performance and the remaining 20 marks based on project work or practical conducted during the academic year.
In the previous year, the pass percentage for the MP board class 12th result was 72.72 percent. The result for boys was 69.94 percent, while for girls it was 75.64 percent. The pass percentage for class 10th was recorded at 59.54 percent. Approximately 9 lakh students appeared for the 12th exams this year, while nearly 10 lakh students took the class 10 board exams.
Recently, the MP Board invited proposals from online portals until May 11 to release the results on the official website. The official notice stated, "Interested portals may submit their proposals latest by 11/05/2023 through post addressing the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Shivaji Nagar, Bhopal. Please note that for the publication of results, a lump sum amount of Rs. 90,000 (Ninety Thousand only) shall be payable to the Board by D.D./NEFT and shall also sign an agreement with the Board."
