The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has recently announced the results for classes 10 and 12. Along with the results, the board has also revealed a list of the highest achievers. Mridul Paul from Indore secured the first position in the MP Board Class 10 examination, scoring an impressive 99 percent and obtaining 494 marks out of 500. Prachi Gadwal, another resident of Indore, secured the second position with 493 out of 500 marks. In the Class 12 examination, Mauli Nema emerged as the topper with a score of 489 marks.

The results were officially released by Inder Singh Parmar, the Minister of State - School Education (Independent Charge), in a virtual ceremony held at the Divisional Headquarters' Science Training Center auditorium. It is noteworthy that this is the first time the MP Board has released the 10th and 12th results simultaneously.

The MP government has also announced plans to reward the top performers as an encouragement. Inder Singh Parmar stated that girls will be given e-scooters, while boys will receive laptops.

A total of around 18 lakh students appeared for the examinations, with 9,65,704 students in class 10 and 8,57,568 students in class 12. The pass percentage for class 10 was 63.29%. The MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams took place in March 2023.
