Employment News-During the Corona period, the number of children in government and private schools has decreased for the last two years. The reason for this is that some people lost their jobs and some people's salaries were reduced. Due to this many parents have shifted their children from private schools to government schools. Also, due to going to other cities for employment, the enrollment of 13 lakh children has decreased in two years. This year, in classes I to VIII, there have been four lakh fewer admissions in private schools than in the previous session, while more admissions have taken place in government schools. In this session, 35 lakh admissions took place in private schools from class I to VIII and 39 lakh in the last session. At the same time, 65 lakh admissions have taken place in government schools in this session, while 63 lakh students had enrolled in the last session.

There were 25 lakh admissions in government schools from ninth to twelfth and 23 lakh in the last session. Also, 11 lakh children have enrolled in private schools in this session, while 12 lakh had enrolled in the last session. That is, the number of students in higher classes has decreased by one lakh. Let us inform that in this session one crore 38 lakh children have got admission in private and government schools, whereas in the last session one crore 37 lakh students had taken admission. Apart from this, the number of students in government schools has also increased in big cities. Academics believe that online education is still being conducted in private schools. The number of children has also decreased due to fees. At the same time, offline classes have been started in government schools from class I to XII.

Admissions in private schools decreased
This time the admissions in private schools have decreased. 35 lakh admissions have taken place from 1st to 8th. Last year 39 lakh children had taken admission in classes I to VIII. Even during the Corona period, private schools are collecting full fees from parents. This is the reason that about four lakh children have been reduced this year. The tendency of parents has increased towards government schools.

Due to increasing facilities and trained teachers in government schools and due to continuation of online education system even during the Corona period, there is an increase in enrollment in government schools.
