On Thursday, a webinar on the role of psychology in crime research by Forensic Investigation Agency Bilaspur. Keynote speaker Manjari Sharma, head of the Department of Psychology of Government Bilasa Kanya PG College, said that mental stress also paves the way for crime. There have been many such incidents in which the culprit executes the incident without being wanted.
Psychologist Manjari explained the importance of crime investigation and psychology while addressing the students of forensic science in the webinar. Told how we can reach them easily by finding a way to reach the culprits during the inspection of the incident. It also clarified that one can collect information from any person through their interaction and ways of working, viewing and working.
The main culprit can be reached by understanding body language. For example, the investigation in the same direction based on the facial expressions of the person, the aptitude and living habits of the person also helps in criminal research. Dr. Sudhir Yadav, Head of the Department of Forensic Department, who was involved in the webinar, said that sometimes a person commits a crime due to his mental stress, but he is not objective.
Forensic investigation is required in such cases. Dipendra Barmate, director of the Forensic Investigation Agency, said that psychologist expert Kimdad helps in solving unresolved criminal cases easily.
