Maharashtra: 81,000 Students In Raigad District To Get Free Uniform Under State Policy

According to an official bulletin, approximately 81,000 students attending Zilla Parishad and aided schools in Maharashtra's Raigad district will receive complimentary uniforms as part of the state's policy. The bulletin stated that the state government has allocated Rs 2.43 crore for the implementation of a standardized uniform.
The distribution will benefit a diverse group of students, including 52,403 girls, 15,912 students from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, 3,669 students from the Scheduled Caste category, and 9,022 students belonging to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category. The bulletin, issued by the primary education section of Raigad Zilla Parishad, mentioned that the uniform's color has not yet been determined.
