Passing Criteria and Options for Students:
To pass the UP board exam, students need to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks. However, for those who may not meet this criterion, there are options available. Students with poor marks in one or two subjects can opt for compartment exams or apply for a re-evaluation process. However, those failing in more than two subjects will need to repeat the year.

Record-Breaking Evaluation Process:
The Uttar Pradesh board is aiming to break previous records by expediting the evaluation process this year. In 2023, results were declared on April 25, but the board is determined to surpass that timeline. A remarkable total of 1,47,097 examiners were appointed for the evaluation of UP Board exam copies, completing the evaluation of 3.01 crore answer sheets within just 12 working days.

Evaluation Centre Details:
For the evaluation process, 259 centres were established across the state, with 131 dedicated to high school answer sheets and 116 for intermediate answer sheets. UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla emphasized the board's commitment to providing quality education and conducting cheating-free examinations. Through meticulous monitoring of examination centres statewide, the UP Board achieved a swift evaluation process, completing it within a record-breaking timeframe of 12 working days.
