KVS Admission 2023: Class 1 registrations begin today on kvsangathan.nic.in, direct link to apply

The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has initiated the process of online registration for admission to class 1 starting from March 27. Parents or guardians who are interested in registering their children for admission can do so by accessing the official website at kvsangathan.nic.in. The registration process began at 10 am on March 27 and will continue until 7 pm on April 17, according to the schedule. For admission to KVS Class 1, the minimum age requirement is 6 years, which must be fulfilled as of March 31, 2023, as per the official notice. The KVS will reserve seats in accordance with its admission guidelines for 2023-24.

To register, follow the steps outlined below:

Step 1: Visit the official website at kvsangathan.nic.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link provided for KVS class 1 admission 2023

Step 3: Log in using the log-in code, Date of Birth (DoB) of the child, and registered mobile number in a new window that opens

Step 4: Fill in all necessary information and submit the form as required

Step 5: Save and download the confirmation page

Step 6: Keep a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference

Parents or guardians must update the KVS mobile application to the latest version on or after March 27. The provisional selection and waitlist for the listed students will be released on April 20, and the admission process will begin on April 21. The Sangathan has stated that if any seats remain vacant, second and third lists will be issued on April 28 and May 4, respectively. It is important to note that only one application form must be submitted per child. If multiple forms are submitted, only the last form submitted will be considered for admission. The registration process for Class 2 and above will begin on April 3 at 8 am and will end on April 12 at 4 pm. Moreover, the registration process for Class 2 and above will only be accepted if vacancies exist in KVS schools.
