Kerala SET 2024 Registration Extended Till April 25: Exam Date Confirmed for July 28
The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has extended the online registration deadline for the Kerala State Eligibility Test or Kerala SET 2024 for the July session. The deadline for online payments is April 27 at midnight. Moreover, the application correction window will open on April 28 at 11 am and close on April 30 at midnight. Hall tickets will be available from July 17, and the exam is scheduled for July 28, as per the official notice.
Eligibility Criteria for Kerala SET 2024:
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in relevant subjects with a minimum of 50 per cent marks or an equivalent grade. Additionally, they should hold a B.Ed. degree in any discipline, either from Kerala University or an equivalent institution. There is no age limit to apply for the Kerala SET.

- Click on the “SET July 2024” application link on the homepage.
- Tap on the “Online Registration” link.
- Register at the portal and proceed with the application process.
- Upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.
- Take a print of the acknowledgment form for further use.
Application Fee for Kerala SET 2024:
General and OBC category candidates need to pay Rs 1000, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates must pay Rs 500.
Exam Pattern for Kerala SET 2024:
The exam consists of two papers — I and II. Paper I includes General Knowledge (Part A) and Aptitude in Teaching (Part B), while Paper II is a subject-specific test based on the candidate’s PG level specialization. There are 31 subjects to choose from for Paper II. Each paper is held for 120 minutes, with no negative marking for incorrect answers.
