Kejriwal Interacts with MCD School Principals Who Underwent Training at IIM Ahmedabad

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal engaged with principals from MCD schools who recently completed a training program at IIM Ahmedabad, expressing his plans to send them overseas for further training. While 50 principals attended the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, the impact of this initiative is expected to extend to numerous schools.
Kejriwal emphasized that the knowledge gained during the training is crucial, but equally significant is the renewed enthusiasm brought back by the principals. He also announced the intention to send MCD school teachers and principals for international training in the near future. Kejriwal urged the principals to become catalysts of change not only within their schools but also for the overall educational environment. Recognizing the current state of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school system as "depressed," Kejriwal promised that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) would transform it and restore optimism.
He acknowledged the challenging circumstances under which MCD teachers have been working, with poor educational infrastructure that previous governments neglected. Kejriwal stressed the need to rectify this gloomy situation. Regarding the training of Delhi government school teachers abroad, Kejriwal highlighted the importance of such programs for their exposure. While there have been debates about the cost-effectiveness of sending teachers abroad versus bringing trainers to Delhi, Kejriwal emphasized the valuable experiences gained through international exposure. He firmly believed that exceptional education is pivotal for the country's development and expressed the determination to establish the Delhi education system as the world's best.
