Tie-Breaking Rules for KCET 2023:
For B.Arch: In case of identical scores, the merit is determined by the marks obtained in mathematics in the qualifying test. If the tie still persists, the age of the applicants is considered, and the older candidate is assigned a higher rank.
For B.Tech and other courses: Initially, the marks in Biology/Mathematics are taken into consideration. If the tie persists, the grades in chemistry and physics are considered. If the tie still remains unresolved, the marks in respective subjects in the qualifying exam are taken into account. If the tie persists even after considering the above criteria, the age factor is taken into account, and the older candidate is awarded the higher rank.
