Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2023 Application Window Extended Till Dec 4th

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application deadline for the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (CSIR UGC NET) December 2023 until December 4. Initially set for November 30, the application process can now be completed on the official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in. The window for application corrections, previously scheduled from December 2 to 4, will now run from December 6 to December 8.

The official notice by NTA states, “It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2023, enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam.”

The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2023 is scheduled to take place on December 27, 28, and 29. This exam will have a duration of 180 minutes, with multiple-choice questions. It covers five papers: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Candidates can choose to answer in either English or Hindi.

CSIR UGC NET DECEMBER 2023: HOW TO APPLY

Step 1: Visit the CSIR UGC NET 2023 official website at csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the “CSIR UGC NET” link on the home page.

Step 3: Complete the application form following the instructions and pay the required fees.

Step 4: Submit the application for the CSIR UGC NET 2023 December session.

Step 5: Download and keep a copy of the CSIR NET form for future reference.

The registration fee for CSIR NET is Rs 1,100 for general candidates, Rs 550 for reserved candidates, and Rs 275 for SC and ST candidates. Payment can be made online through debit or credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.
