Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the online application process for admission to various undergraduate courses and Certificate of Proficiency (COP) programmes for the academic session 2024-25. The registration process began on August 2, 2024, and will be open until August 12, 2024, at 11:50 PM. Interested students can apply through the official JNU admission portal at jnuee.jnu.ac.in. The tentative date for the release of the first merit list is August 21, 2024.

Admission Details

  • Courses and Admission Through CUET (UG) 2024: Admissions to BA (Honours) in Foreign Languages, BSc in Ayurveda Biology, and COP programmes will be determined based on the CUET (UG) 2024 results.

Eligibility Criteria

  • For BA and BSc Programmes:

    • Candidates must have completed their Class 12 examination or equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 45% marks.
    • Admission will be based on the CUET (UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

  • For COP Programmes:

    • Candidates must also have completed their Class 12 examination with a minimum of 45% marks.
    • No viva voce examination will be required. Admission will be based solely on merit from the Computer-Based Test (CBT).

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Scanned signature
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Diploma certificate (if applicable)
  • Scanned left-hand thumb impression

Steps to Apply

  1. Visit the Official Website: Go to jnuee.jnu.ac.in.
  2. Login: Click on the application link and log in using your NTA Application Number and Date of Birth as the User ID and Password, respectively.
  3. Fill the Form: Complete the application form with the necessary documents and information.
  4. Submit: Verify that all information is correct, then submit the form.
  5. Download and Print: Download the completed form and take a printout for future reference.
