Registration Fee

The admission form and prospectus for Jamia Millia Islamia's Center for Distance and Online Education can be obtained from the Office of the Director, Urdu Correspondence Course, JMI. Indian students residing in the country will have to pay INR 500 for registration. Whereas, students coming from SAARC countries will have to make a payment of 20 US dollars, and students from other countries will incur a fee of 50 US dollars.

Revised Examination Dates

Due to the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the entrance examination dates for several programs have been revised. The admissions process has already commenced at JMI. The entrance examination for MA (Economics), MA (Applied Psychology), Diploma in Engineering (Regular/Self Finance), MBA/MBA (IB) Self Finance/MBA (Entrepreneurship and Family Business) (Self Finance) will be conducted on June 9. The entrance examination is held in multiple slots on the same day. The exam timings range from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Introduction of Negative Marking

Candidates scoring less than 30% marks in the entrance exam will not be selected for interview and admission. Additionally, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in objective or multiple-choice questions in all university programs.
