JKPSC CCE Mains 2023: Registrations Begin for 75 Posts, How to Apply

The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has initiated the application process for the Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination (CCE 2023). Interested and eligible candidates can apply online at jkpsc.nic.in, the official website, until March 10.

Exam Schedule: The JKPSC CCE Main 2023 exam is scheduled to take place from March 26, 2024, to April 3, 2024, in Jammu and Srinagar. A total of 2256 candidates who qualified in the preliminary exam are expected to appear for the Main exam.

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have cleared the Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination conducted in 2023 and be domiciles of the Union Territory of J&K. Additionally, applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in India or a Foreign University recognized by the Government.

Vacancy Details: The recruitment drive aims to fill 75 positions across three categories:

• J&K Administrative Service Junior Scale: 25 vacancies
• J&K Accounts (G) Service: 25 vacancies
• J&K Police (G) Service: 25 vacancies

3. Log in and fill out the application form.
4. Review and submit the form along with necessary documents.
5. Pay the application fee as per category.
6. Print a copy of the application form for future reference.

Application Fee:

• General Category: Rs. 1000
• Reserved Category: Rs. 500

Salary: Selected candidates for Junior Scale positions in the J&K Administrative Service, J&K Police (G) Service, and J&K Accounts (G) Service will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 9,300-34,800 along with a Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800. The Grade Pay has been revised to Level 8, corresponding to a new salary range of Rs. 47,600 to Rs. 1,51,100.
