JKBOSE Class 11 Annual Exam 2024: Revised Schedule for Soft Zones Announced

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has rescheduled the annual regular examination for class 11 in soft zone areas. This decision, along with revised examination schedules for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th in hard zone areas, aims to avoid any clash with the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has rescheduled the annual regular examination for class 11 in soft zone areas. This decision, along with revised examination schedules for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th in hard zone areas, aims to avoid any clash with the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.

Revised Examination Schedule:

Class 10 (Hard Zone):

  • New Dates: April 4 to May 9, 2024

Class 11 (Hard Zone):

  • New Dates: April 22 to May 26, 2024

Class 12 (Hard Zone):

  • New Dates: April 8 to May 9, 2024

Class 11 (Soft Zone):

  • New Dates: April 2 to May 1, 2024

Reason for Rescheduling: The rescheduling was prompted by instructions received from the Joint Chief Electoral Officer of J&K (Jammu) to ensure no clash between examination dates and Lok Sabha Election 2024.

Impact of NTA's JEE (Main) 2024 Session-2: The National Testing Agency's JEE (Main) 2024, session-2 is scheduled from April 4 to April 15. In response to student requests, JKBOSE has adjusted the board examination dates accordingly.

Revised Date Sheet for Middle Standard Examination: The Jammu and Kashmir State Council of Educational Research and Training (JKSCERT) has also published a revised date sheet for the Middle Standard Examination for both soft and hard zones of session 2023-24. The examination will now commence from April 02 and conclude on April 15, with a revised timing of 10:00 AM.
