Paper Leak Incident: The issue of paper leak came to light on the first day of the examination. Former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Babulal Marandi, has called for a CBI investigation into the matter. He highlighted that answer sheets were circulated on social media platforms and WhatsApp. The cancellation of the General Knowledge paper has disrupted the examination schedule.

Exam Structure: The JSSC CGL exam consists of three papers: a language paper (Hindi and English), a regional and tribal languages paper, and a General Knowledge paper. Candidates who clear the prelims will proceed to the mains exam and subsequently undergo a document verification process.

Recruitment Details: JSSC CGL 2023 aims to recruit candidates for various Group B and C positions, including Assistant Branch Officer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Planning Assistant, and Block Supply Officer. The total number of vacancies for these posts is 2025.

Qualification Requirements: Candidates applying for JSSC CGL must have a bachelor's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.

Salary Structure: The salary offered to selected candidates varies based on the position. For example, the salary for an Assistant Branch Officer ranges from Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400, while a Junior Secretariat Assistant can expect a salary between Rs 19,900 to Rs 63,200. Similarly, Planning Assistant's salary is between Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300, and Block Supply Officer's salary ranges from Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400.
