The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic) has decided to postpone the Joint Entrance Examination, UP (UPJEE 2023) for admissions to government and private polytechnic institutes. The new examination date is scheduled for the first week of August. Candidates eagerly awaiting the UPJEE 2023 admit card release on jeecup.admissions.nic.in will have to wait a little longer, as the exact release date is yet to be disclosed. Initially, the admit card was supposed to be released on or before July 16, but there was a delay in the process.

To download the UPJEE 2023 admit card, candidates should follow these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of JEECUP - jeecup.nic.in 

Step 2: Click on the admit card link on the homepage

Step 3: Log in using their application ID and date of birth

Step 4: The admit card for UPJEE 2023 will then appear on the screen.

They can download and save it for future reference.

Despite the postponement, the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic) has not provided any explanation for the delay in the admit card and exam date. As of now, there is no formal notification about the change in the exam date on the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in.

The UPJEE 2023 exam will be conducted online and will last for two and a half hours. The question paper will contain a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, carrying a total of 400 points. It's essential for candidates to note that the question paper will be available in both Hindi and English. Under the marking scheme, each correct response will be awarded four marks, but one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

The application registration for the UPJEE 2023 exam began on March 6 and concluded on June 20. A window for application correction was open from June 21 to June 27. Additionally, the application process for new candidates reopened on July 13 for a two-day period.

Successful candidates in the UPJEE 2023 exam will secure admission to various state-based aided and private polytechnic institutions affiliated with the Technical Education Council, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.
