Jamia's Registrar, Najim Jafri, stated on Thursday that while the University already offers courses in law, dentistry, and medical sciences, there were no specific departments for them. He mentioned that although we already had faculties, there were no departments, so we have now created new departments to organize the programs and disciplines. Currently, the University comprises 48 departments and 11 faculties.

Recently, the University launched several new self-financed programs in BTech and MTech. These new programs include BTech in Electrical and Computer Engineering, BTech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology), BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science), and MTech in Data Science.

These self-financed programs have been introduced with an annual fee of Rs 1,50,000 for BTech and Rs 54,000 for MTech. Candidates can apply for admission by visiting Jamia Millia Islamia's official website, jmicoe.in.

Furthermore, the University provides free coaching for UPSC Civil Services Examination. The application process for this coaching will commence from March 18 and will continue until May 19. Interested candidates can register for admission through the University's official website on the specified dates.
