JAC Jharkhand Board Creates Hat-trick by Recording Above 95% in Matric Result for 3 Consecutive Years
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) Jharkhand board class 10 result for the year 2023 has seen a remarkable success rate, with as many as 95.38% of students clearing the examination. Out of the 4 lakh students who appeared for the exam, 66.23% secured first division, 31.05% secured second division, and 2.37% secured third division. This achievement marks JAC's hat-trick in recording above 95% pass percentage for three consecutive years.
In 2022, the pass percentage was 95.60%, and in 2021, it was 95.93%. Last year, out of 3,99,010 students, 3,73,893 successfully cleared the exam, resulting in an impressive overall pass percentage of 95.60%. When comparing the pass percentages, it is worth noting that girls achieved a pass percentage of 95.50%, while boys achieved a slightly higher pass percentage of 95.70%. Additionally, in 2021, JAC recorded the highest-ever pass percentage.

Students who fail to clear one or two subjects in the JAC matric supplementary exams have the option to apply for the JAC Matric supplementary exam through their respective schools. The supplementary exam for the year 2023 is expected to be conducted in July. To pass the JAC matric 10th exam, students need to score a minimum of 33%. Along with marks and grades, students will also receive division on their provisional marksheets.
The evaluation of the answer scripts for the board exams took place at designated regional centres established by the Jharkhand Academic Council. Across 19 districts of Jharkhand, a total of 66 centres were set up for reviewing the answer scripts, with 35 centres specifically assigned for assessing the class 10 papers.
