Introduce Artificial Intelligence in School Curriculum for All Classes: Andhra CM Jagan

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged vice-chancellors of various universities in the state to incorporate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the curriculum, aiming to equip students with the skills to become AI creators. During a meeting with vice-chancellors and education officials at his camp office, he emphasized the need for AI to be integrated from primary to higher education. The Chief Minister highlighted the transformative impact AI will have on the education system and the world's progression towards the fourth industrial revolution centered around AI.

He emphasized the significance of incorporating robotics and AI into medical education. Furthermore, he set a goal for Andhra Pradesh students to become global leaders in this industrial revolution. He stressed the importance of providing education that prepares students to be leaders in various fields and sectors at an international level.

The Chief Minister cautioned against falling behind in the AI race, as lagging behind would relegate the state to a follower rather than a frontrunner. He drew attention to past missed opportunities, mentioning the steam-powered rail engine revolution of 1784 and the subsequent emergence of electricity, computers, and information technology. He acknowledged the state's previous setbacks but emphasized the need to transform and position themselves as creators and leaders in the AI sector.
