Inspire scheme cutoff released: Online application for scholarship starts, 83% cutoff fixed for UP board

Employment News-The process of application has started every year under the Inspire (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) scheme by the Ministry of Science and Technology (DST). Students who have passed class 12th in science stream can apply for Scholarship for Higher Education for higher education. The ministry has also released the cutoff for various boards. In the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Secondary Education (UP Board), students who have passed class 12 from Science stream, who have secured 415/500 marks or more in the Intermediate examination 2021, can apply.
Under this scheme, 80 thousand rupees scholarship is provided annually by the government to the selected students. To apply for this scholarship or any kind of information in this regard can be obtained from www.upmsp.edu.in.

Secretary of the Board of Secondary Education, Divyakant Shukla said that online application for scholarship can be made on the website of the institution https://www.online-inspire.gov.in. For more information related to the application, you can download the eligibility note and advisory note by entering your roll number from the website of the Board of Secondary Education www.upmsp.edu.in.

Candidates of any board can view the cutoff list by logging on to the link https://www.online-inspire.gov.in. Inspire Award Standard Scheme has been constituted with the objective of encouraging the bright and promising students of all schools to make a bright future. The benefit of this scheme can be taken by those taking admission in basic and natural science courses such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, life science, botany, zoology, etc. undergraduate or integrated postgraduate classes. Students who have passed Intermediate examination in Science stream of UP Board with minimum 83% marks are eligible to apply. Similarly, different cutoff has been issued for other boards as well.
What is the purpose of Inspire Scheme
The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the promising students and secure their future.
Under this scheme, about 100000 students from all over the country and 10000 students at the district level are selected.
Another purpose of this is to inculcate interest in science among the students.
The selected students are awarded by the President at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Cash prizes are also given to the students who are selected at the national level.
Some of the brightest students from all over the country get a chance to travel abroad.
