Eligibility Criteria

The recruitment is divided into different categories, each with specific eligibility criteria:

  1. Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms)

    • Education: Class 10/Matric with 45% overall and 33% in each subject.
  2. Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)

    • Education: 10+2/Intermediate in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English, with a minimum of 50% overall and 40% in each subject. Alternatively, 10+2 from a recognized board along with an ITI course of one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above.
  3. Agniveer (Technical) (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner) and Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper (Technical) (All Arms)

    • Education: 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with 60% overall and 50% in each subject, including a minimum of 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping.
  4. Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms)

    • Education: Passed 10th with no specific percentage requirement but a minimum of 33% in each subject.
  5. Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms)

    • Education: Passed 8th with no specific percentage requirement but a minimum of 33% in each subject.

Application Fee

Candidates applying need to pay an examination fee of Rs 250 through the State Bank of India portal after completing the application form.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two phases:

  • Phase 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) held at various centers across India.
  • Phase 2: Recruitment Rally by Army Recruitment Offices (AROs) involving Document Verification, Medical Examination, and Merit List finalization.

Exam Pattern

The exam pattern varies across posts:

  • Objective MCQs with a negative marking of 25% for incorrect answers.
  • No penalty for unattempted questions.
  • Full marks for every correct response.
  • All attempted questions, even those marked for review, are considered for evaluation.
