IIT Madras Drops Details: JEE Advanced 2024 Information Brochure Unveiled

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has released the information brochure for the upcoming Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2024. The registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 is set to commence on April 21 and can be completed on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. As per the schedule, JEE Advanced 2024 will take place on May 26. The candidate's performance in JEE (Advanced) 2024 will serve as the basis for admission to Bachelor, Integrated Master, and Dual Degree programs (entry at the 10+2 level).

Exam Pattern of JEE Advanced

Participation in both Paper 1 and Paper 2, each lasting three hours, is mandatory for the examination.

Criteria for Appearing in JEE Advanced 2024

• Educational Qualification: Performance in JEE (Main) 2024: Candidates should be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in the BE/BTech paper of JEE (Main) 2024.
• Age Limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1999.
• Number of Attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
• Class 12 Examination Appearance: The candidate should have appeared in the Class 12 (or equivalent) examination for the first time either in 2023 or should be appearing for the 2024 board exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Registration Process for JEE Advanced 2024

The online registration process for JEE Advanced 2024 is scheduled to begin on April 21. Furthermore, the last date to apply for the same is April 30.
