IIT Kanpur Smashes Placement Records: 989 Offers at Rs 26.27 LPA in Phase 1

• Total Offers: A remarkable 989 offers were extended, including 22 international offers, to IIT Kanpur students during Phase 1 of placements.
• Successful Placements: Out of these offers, 913 students secured placements, including those with Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).
• Average Salary: The current average salary stands at an impressive Rs 26.27 LPA (lakh per annum).

IIT Kanpur witnessed enthusiastic participation from prominent industry giants during this phase. Companies like Microsoft, Fujitsu, Samsung, Reliance, Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Deutsche Bank, Tata Projects, Navi, Uniorbit, ICICI Bank, EXL, NPCI, Intel, TSMC, Bajaj Auto, Tata Steel, HPCL, SECI, C-DOT, NVIDIA, and others actively engaged in the placement process.

Prof. S. Ganesh, Director of IIT Kanpur, expressed gratitude to the Students’ Placement Office and applauded their relentless efforts. He acknowledged the trust shown by recruiters and the opportunities they provided to the students, further enhancing their professional journeys.

Milestones at IIT Bhubaneswar

Simultaneously, IIT Bhubaneswar witnessed a flourishing placement drive with 200 job offers within the first 10 days. The highest placement offer this year reached a remarkable Rs 64 lakh per annum, setting a new record for the institute's placement drive. Additionally, four international offers were extended to IIT Bhubaneswar students, signifying their growing global appeal.
