ICMAI CMA Inter, Final 2023 Results Set to be Revealed on September 26th – Check the Passing Criteria

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) is set to announce the results for the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) intermediate and final examinations held in July 2023. Candidates who appeared for these examinations will be able to access their results on the official website, icmai.in. Result Availability: The eagerly awaited CMA intermediate and final examination results for the July 2023 session will be unveiled on September 26, according to reports. Candidates can check their results by visiting the official website and entering their CMA registration number and password.

Verification of Answer Books: For candidates who may have concerns or doubts about their results, there is an option for verification of their CMA answer books. The verification request window will remain open for 30 days from the date of the CMA 2023 results release. However, candidates opting for this service will need to pay a verification fee of Rs 250.

In cases where an error by the examiner is identified during the verification process, the candidate's marks will be adjusted accordingly, and the verification fee will be refunded. The verification process is conducted meticulously to ensure accuracy.

Upcoming CMA Examinations: The institute has already announced that the forthcoming CMA intermediate and final examinations for the year 2023 are scheduled to take place from December 10 to 17.

Passing Criteria for CMA Final 2023: The CMA final exam for 2023 was divided into two groups, each consisting of four papers worth 100 marks each. To successfully pass the CMA final exam, candidates must attain a minimum of 50% in the aggregate and a minimum of 40% in each of the subjects. The subjects covered in the CMA final exam include corporate laws and compliance, strategic financial management, strategic cost management-decision making, direct tax laws and international taxation, corporate financial reporting, cost & management audit, among others.

Passing Criteria for CMA Intermediate 2023: Candidates taking the CMA intermediate exam must achieve a minimum score of 50% overall and a minimum of 40% in each subject, depending on whether they are attempting the single-group CMA Inter exam or both groups.

Previous Year's Pass Rates: In the 2022 intermediate examination, a total of 5,327 candidates passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 15.06% for groups 1 and 2 combined. Specifically, 4,805 out of 25,159 candidates passed in Group 1, while 3,357 out of 13,823 candidates passed in Group 2.
