The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently announced the dates for the postgraduate and PhD entrance exams for admission to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The ICAR AIEEA PG and ICAR AIEEA PhD tests are scheduled to take place on July 9, 2023, in 89 cities across India. These exams will be conducted in English.

To download the ICAR AIEEA 2023 admit cards, candidates need to visit the icar.nta.nic.in website and provide their application numbers, passwords, or dates of birth. However, the dates for the release of the admit cards and the announcement of the Advance City Intimation are yet to be determined, as mentioned in the official notification.

Once the ICAR PG and PhD entrance exam admit cards are issued by the NTA, candidates are advised to verify the accuracy of their names, photographs, and signatures on the hall tickets. These exams are conducted for admission to the Post Graduate and Doctoral Degree Programs offered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the academic session 2023-24.

The online application window for the ICAR entrance exam is currently open and will remain so until June 23, 2023, at 5:00 PM. In case of any corrections required in the application, candidates can make use of the correction window available from June 25 to 27, 2023.

To apply for the ICAR Entrance Exam 2023, follow these steps:

  • Visit the official website icar.nta.nic.in.
  • Under Candidate Activity, click on the registration link for your desired course.
  • Register and fill out the application form.
  • Upload the necessary documents, complete the payment of fees, and submit the form.
  • Download and print a copy of the application form for future reference.

The ICAR entrance exam will be conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have a time limit of two hours to complete the question paper, and the language of the exam will be English.

Qualifying the ICAR AIEEA will make candidates eligible for admission to 75 agricultural universities in India, including 64 state agricultural, veterinary, horticultural, and fisheries universities, four ICAR-deemed universities, three central agricultural universities, and four central universities with faculties of agriculture.
