The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the dates for the postgraduate and PhD entrance exams conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The ICAR AIEEA PG and ICAR AIEEA PhD tests are scheduled to take place on July 9, 2023, across 89 cities in India. These exams will be conducted in English. Candidates can download their ICAR AIEEA 2023 admit cards from the official website, icar.nta.nic.in, using their application numbers, passwords, or dates of birth. The notification states that the dates for the release of the admit cards and the advance city intimation will be announced later.
Once the ICAR PG and PhD entrance exam admit cards are issued by NTA, candidates are advised to verify that their names, photographs, and signatures are accurately printed on the admit cards. The exams are conducted for admission to the Post Graduate and Doctoral Degree Programmes offered by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the academic session 2023-24. The online application window is currently open until June 23, 5:00 PM, and candidates can make corrections in their applications from June 25 to 27, 2023.

- Click on the registration link for the desired course under Candidate Activity.
- Complete the registration process and fill out the application form.
- Upload the required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form.

The ICAR entrance exam will be a Computer Based Test (CBT) with an objective-type question pattern, including multiple-choice questions. Candidates will have a duration of two hours to complete the question paper, and the medium of the exam will be English.
Candidates who qualify in the ICAR AIEEA will be eligible for admission to 75 agricultural universities in India, including 64 state agricultural, veterinary, horticultural, and fisheries universities, four ICAR-deemed universities, three central agricultural universities, and four central universities with a faculty of agriculture.
