An official notice from the institute stated, “In light of the tense and unsafe environment in the country, the remaining CA Final, Intermediate, and Post Qualification Course (INTT AT) exams scheduled from May 9 to May 14, 2025, are being postponed.”
Current Examination Status
Current Examination Status:
- CA Final Group I exams were conducted on May 2, 4, and 6.
- Group II exams, originally set for May 8, 10, and 13, have now been postponed.
- CA Intermediate Group I exams took place from May 3 to 7.
Group II exams were scheduled for May 9, 11, and 14, but these have also been postponed.
Reasons for Postponement
Reasons for Postponement:
The situation between India and Pakistan intensified on May 7 and 8, when Pakistan launched heavy shelling on border villages in Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, drone and missile attacks from Pakistan were reported on the nights of May 8 and 9, affecting various regions in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, and Rajasthan.
In retaliation, India initiated a strategic operation named 'Operation Sindoor,' targeting nine terrorist bases located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). This operation was a response to the Pahalgam terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of 26 tourists.
