Important CA Examination Dates Released



The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has provided crucial details for students planning to take the Chartered Accountancy (CA) exams set for September to November 2026. The ICAI has unveiled the full timetable for the Foundation, Intermediate, and CA Final exams, along with dates for specific post-qualification assessments. Candidates must submit their online examination forms starting from July 6 through the CA Self-Service Portal (SSP).


Examination Schedule Overview

The CA Foundation exams are scheduled for September, while the Intermediate exams will take place in early September, and the CA Final exams are set for November. The ICAI will implement an online application process and will provide a brief correction window for students wishing to modify their examination medium or center preferences. Students can select either English or Hindi as their examination medium for the Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams.

Candidates should note that the ICAI will not alter examination dates, even if any exam day is declared a public holiday by central or state authorities. The dates announced by the ICAI are final.


Exam Timing Details

**Most Exams Scheduled from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM**


According to the official notice, most exams will last three hours, running from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Foundation Papers 3 and 4 will be two hours long, while Final Paper 6 and the International Taxation Assessment Test will extend to four hours. Except for Foundation Papers 3 and 4 and the Post-Qualification Tests, students will receive an additional 15 minutes of reading time starting at 1:45 PM for all other exams.


Application Fees for CA Exams

**What Are the Fees?**


For examination centers located in India, the ICAI has established the following fees: ₹1,500 for the Foundation exam; ₹1,500 for a single Intermediate group and ₹2,700 for both groups. For the CA Final exam, candidates will need to pay ₹1,800 for one group and ₹3,300 for both groups.
