Expected Declaration Date: The HPBOSE is likely to announce the 10th class annual examination results on May 7, 2024, according to officials associated with the board. While an official confirmation is awaited, students can stay updated with the latest announcements on the official website, hpbose.org.

Examination Details:

  • The 10th annual examinations were conducted from March 2 to 21, 2024.
  • Approximately 95,000 candidates appeared for the Himachal Pradesh Board Matriculation Examination 2024 across 2258 examination centres statewide.

Preparation for Result Declaration:

  • To expedite the result declaration process, the HPBOSE increased the number of evaluation centers and teachers assigned for evaluation work.
  • Arrangements were made to upload the answer sheet marks online at the evaluation centers to ensure a speedy outcome.

Expected Timing of Result:

  • The HPBOSE Secretary, Dr. Major Vishal Sharma, stated that the class 10th result is almost ready.
  • If there are no technical issues, the HPBOSE 10th Result 2024 will be declared on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, between 10 am to noon.

Pass Criteria:

  • To pass the HPBOSE 10th exam, students need to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks overall as well as in each subject, equivalent to grade D.

Comparison with Previous Years:

  • In 2023, the overall passing percentage for class 12 stood at 79.4 per cent, while in 2022, it was 93.91 per cent.
