A man from Uttar Pradesh has been arrested by the Gurugram Police for allegedly sending someone else to take an exam on his behalf for recruitment in the Border Security Force (BSF). The BSF officials became suspicious when the photograph and fingerprints of the person who appeared in the exam did not match those of the accused.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Balwant Singh of the BSF’s 95 battalion, Sohna road, filed a complaint, and an FIR was registered at the Bhondsi police station under sections 419, 420, and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. The accused was detained, and the police are now trying to track down his accomplice.

The BSF has instructed the cancellation of the recruitment process for such candidates and to file a police complaint. The candidates who have passed the exam are being called to join their posts. The police are investigating the matter.
