Employment News-The government will give 10 thousand rupees annually to the guest teachers working in government schools of Haryana for education and other works. Service rules will be applicable soon. Many benefits will be available including 20 casual leave. These demands were agreed upon on Wednesday in the meeting of the delegation of Guest Teachers Association with Chief Minister Manohar Lal. An agreement could not be reached on basic pay as regular teachers, non-acceptance of posts vacant at the time of transfers and adjustment in home districts.

After the meeting, the government claimed that the guest teachers would end the ongoing dharna at the residence of the Education Minister, while the union has said to end the dharna on the issue of a letter of accepted demands. The meeting of the union office bearers with the Chief Minister at his residence was very positive. The Chief Minister listened carefully to all his words.
