Great potential for strengthening cooperation between educational institutions of India and America: Dharmendra Pradhan

Employment News-Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that India and the US are natural partners, especially in the field of education and there is immense potential to strengthen cooperation between the educational institutions of the two countries. Pradhan said this in his address at the 'Advancing India-US Education Partnership' on Wednesday. This round table meeting was organized by the Indian Embassy in collaboration with the Consulates of New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Houston and Atlanta. “India and the US are natural partners, especially in the field of education. He said that India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has facilitated the way for teachers and students wherever they go in the world and it also encourages partnership and mutually beneficial education coordination. Pradhan said, "COP26 in Glasgow In order to coordinate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement at the summit, India's education system has to be in sync with global aspirations and NEP2020 approves such synergy.

Presidents, vice chancellors and representatives of 20 American universities participated in this roundtable, including the University of Colorado, New York University, Rice University and the University of Illinois, etc.
