Government will start 1.5 lakh nursery classes in Bihar, music room and digital library will be available

Bihar is preparing for major changes in primary schools and Anganwadi centers for the intellectual development of children up to the age of six years before schooling. The education department has started work. A list of Anganwadi centers operating near government schools is being prepared. After this, the plan to develop Anganwadi centers as e-learning centers will be implemented. With the academic support of teachers, children of Anganwadi centers will study and learn.

Work book will be according to the age of the children

According to the plan, curriculum and smart classes will be prepared according to the children. There will also be a music room and digital library. Instruments will be kept in the music room. Educational materials, toys will be provided. There will be a separate work book for children of different ages. There will be arrangements like proper rest, first aid room, bio toilet. The implementation will take place in the next financial year 22-23. It is estimated that Rs 1500 crore is estimated to be spent on this.

Names of classes according to children's thinking

Nursery classes will be named according to the thinking of the children. For example, the name of a class room would be ocean, relationship, then the name of a class room would be zoo, identity, flight or emotions. The children will not have to carry the burden of the bags, so that the facility of bringing them will be there. Each locker will be fitted with an ID card so that children can recognize it immediately. Also, the height, weight and eyes of the children will be checked every month.

Children will be assessed every month

Children in the age group of 3-6 years will be assessed in Anganwadi centres. With this, every month the intellectual ability of the children will be ascertained. The servicemen will evaluate and submit the report to the CDPO. CDPO will upload all the reports online on 10th of the month. The assessment will assess the linguistic, intellectual/mental, physical, creative and social and emotional of the children.

Additional Chief Secretary said this

Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Sanjay Kumar said that it is necessary to create theme based smart classes and environment to teach linguistic and numerical knowledge to children in nursery, so that 1 lakh 15 thousand Anganwadi centers and 40 classes from 1st to 5th in the state. To make possible intellectual development of children in the age group 3-9 in 1000 primary schools and also to perform better in further classes. Teachers of primary schools will also provide academic support to children in Anganwadi centers.
