Government schools of Madhya Pradesh ranked 19th in the country

The average score in the National Achievement Survey (NAS) of government schools in Madhya Pradesh is 35.32, while the national average score is 35.66. However, the state is close to the national average score but is far behind compared to other states. State government schools are ranked 19th in the country. 

On the basis of this survey report of NAS-2017, NITI Aayog has prepared the basic resources of all government schools, faculty, subject-wise learning ability in children and scores have been released to the states. At the same time, if subject wise, Madhya Pradesh has 274 marks in Science in eighth grade, while Rajasthan leads with 326 scores. At the same time, the state has got 316 marks in Mathematics in the third grade, while Karnataka is at the forefront with 348 marks.

 At the same time, in the third class in the language subject, the state has got 340 marks, while Andhra Pradesh has come first with 364 marks. Language, Mathematics in the primary level of the state Science has a score of 5 to 10 lessthan the national average, which means that children have a slow learning ability. Educationists believe that the government schools of Madhya Pradesh lag behind other states in terms of basic resources, laboratory and faculty. It has to be improved.

Detailed 2017 report now released

 

The three-year NAS report 2020 due to the Corona period was not released, but rather the 2017 NAS detailed report has just been released. Which has been prepared by the NITI Aayog under the India Innovation Index 2020. In this, Delhi has got the highest score on the basis of basic resources in government schools with high level of income. MP also lags behind Bihar, Chhattisgarh.
