Southwest University has introduced a fully-funded scholarship program, allowing students to pursue their studies without any financial burden. Types of Scholarships Available
Two Distinct Scholarship Categories: The New Silk Road Scholarship is categorized into Type A and Type B. Type A provides a complete tuition waiver along with a monthly stipend: undergraduate students receive 1,100 RMB, postgraduate students get 1,400 RMB, and PhD candidates are awarded 1,700 RMB monthly. In contrast, Type B only covers tuition fees and does not include a stipend. It's important to note that neither category covers medical insurance or accommodation, which students must arrange independently.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants
Who Can Apply? This scholarship is aimed at students with commendable academic achievements. To be eligible, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or an aggregate score exceeding 80%. Additionally, proficiency in the language of instruction for their chosen program is required, necessitating the submission of a language proficiency certificate (such as HSK, TOEFL iBT, or IELTS). The scholarship duration is four years for undergraduates, two to three years for postgraduates, and four years for PhD students.
