Ensuring the health and future of the students is necessary, it is necessary to take the twelfth examination
The present situation is difficult and challenging. Our country is a huge country. The format of the board exams for class XII should be in accordance with the states option. Education is the foundation of the country. Ensuring the future of students is essential. Taking special care of children, it is also important to have a Class XII examination. Teaching work in the country is the same for a year and a half. The effect of not giving exams for one year lasts for a lifetime. This was expressed by Atul Kothari, National Secretary of the Trust while addressing the symposium organized on the subject of the Board Examination by Education Culture Utthan Nyas, the future of the students.
NCERT executive member Anita Sharma said that the 12th board examination, which decides the future of one crore 40 lakh students, remains like a turning point for the students. Children have gone to the Supreme Court in favor of the examination. Keeping this in view, this program has been organized. In which students, teachers, academics, managers, doctors, psychologists etc. were discussed by bringing them all on one platform. Edward Mendhe, associated with the organization of the program, said that in the symposium, everyone unanimously agreed to conduct the examination.
Also, the memorandum was submitted to the Prime Minister and Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal by the Education Culture Uplift Trust incorporating the suggestions brought about the format of the examination. In the symposium, the Chairman of NIOS, Prof. Saroj Sharma, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, General Secretary of Indian Universities Association, Anju Mehrotra of NCERT, Dr. of Navbharati Educational Institute. Take objective test
Suggestions were made by the Trust in relation to conducting the examination through memorandum. Students who cannot take the exam now for some reason should be given a second chance. If the examination is conducted through direct (offline) mode, there should be a simplification of the examinations, only a paper of the same subject (like Miscellaneous Science) should be taken. Also, the exam time period should also be considered. On the direct examination, it was suggested that the examination be done in your own school, the supervisor may be from other school. OMR sheet based objective test can be conducted. In the memorandum, an important suggestion was made regarding the examination center that keeping in mind the condition of corona, medical, sanitizer, hand wash, mask, Faceshield etc. should be ensured.
Regarding examination evaluation, the trust suggests that 40 percent marks of evaluation should be given on the basis of the average of class 10th and 11th results and 30 percent can be given on the basis of internal assessment and 30 percent on the basis of board examination.
