Education Department will provide space for play schools

Employment News-Women and Child Development Department will be responsible for maintaining and providing facilities in the 191 play schools to be constructed by replacing Anganwadi centers in the district. On the other hand, the building for running the play school will be provided by the education department. Although at present there are 1270 Anganwadi centers in the district, but it has not yet been decided where play schools will be built out of these.

The Women and Child Development Department has already strengthened the preparations for the land. For this, a letter has already been written to the officials of the Education Department that if there is no place for play school at any place, then space should be made available for it in the schools. Apart from this, the staff will also be from the Department of Women and Child Development. The workers who are already giving elementary education to the children in the center will teach the children in the play schools and monitor their development related activities.

District Program Officer in-charge Anita Nain and CDPO Kamlesh Garg told that correspondence has been done with the officials of the Education Department regarding the location. The work of supervision will be done by the Department of Women and Child Development itself. If there are instructions for any kind of change in the department regarding the location staff, then they will also be followed prominently. Till now all the work is going on without any hindrance as per the rules.
