Admission Criteria:
- Qualifying the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG exam is mandatory for admission to Delhi University undergraduate programmes.
- However, for admission to the School of Open Learning (SOL), Foreign Nationals, or Non-Collegiate Women Education Board (NCWEB), appearing in CUET UG is not mandatory.
- Admission to specific programmes such as BTech and five-year integrated programmes will be based on JEE Main scores and Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) scores, respectively.
DU UG Admission Guidelines 2024: To ensure a smooth admission process, students must adhere to the following guidelines:
- Visit the official website du.ac.in and apply for admission to the desired programme using valid CUET UG scores.
- Candidates must have qualified class 12 from a recognised board of education.
- If the subject studied at Class 12 is not mentioned in CUET (UG) - 2024, candidates must appear in a similar/closely related subject.
- Gap years will not be a barrier for admission, but candidates must also appear in CUET UG 2024 for admissions in the academic year 2024-25.
DU UG Admission Process 2024:
- Qualifying students in CUET UG 2024 must register on Delhi University's Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).
- CSAS conducts multiple rounds of seat allocation, with round-wise seat allocation lists available on the CSAS portal.
- Students submit their college and course preferences in order of priority.
- Participate in the seat allocation process by accepting, freezing, or rejecting allotted seats.
- Upon satisfaction with the allotted seat, pay the enrollment fees to confirm admission.
