DU PhD Admission 2024: Category-wise Eligibility:
Students aspiring for PhD admission, assistant professorship, and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) must understand the category-wise eligibility criteria outlined below:

DU PhD Admission 2024 Guidelines:
Aspiring students must adhere to the following guidelines for Delhi University PhD admission:

  • Admission under the JRF category will adhere to UGC guidelines.
  • For candidates aiming for assistant professorship and PhD admission, 70% weightage will be assigned to test scores, while 30% weightage will be given to interviews.
  • NET exam scores will remain valid for one year for DU PhD admission purposes.
  • In cases where UGC does not conduct NET examinations for specific subjects/disciplines, DU will administer entrance examinations.
