DU Admissions 2023: Over 2 Lakh Registrations Recorded For UG Programmes

The Delhi University has initiated the application process for undergraduate admissions through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2023. As of Wednesday, the university has received over 200,000 registrations. According to official data, the CSAS portal has registered 218,355 candidates, out of which 154,645 have submitted the CSAS DU application form 2023, while 63,710 have not.
Candidates can access the CSAS application portal using their registered Central University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG)-2023 application number. The university will use the CUET results from 2023 and other eligibility criteria to determine admissions. The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently conducted the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate exams for the year 2023. The CUET UG results are expected to be officially announced on July 8, and candidates can check the results on the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The cutoff scores for different courses in 2023 may vary depending on the respective categories. For example, the predicted cutoff range for the UR category for MA English and M.Sc is expected to be between 2.5 and 4.5, while for Chemistry, it is anticipated to be between 1.5 and 3.5. Based on these cutoff scores, candidates will be considered eligible for admission into various programs offered by the central universities.
The final phase of the CUET UG 2023 exam took place from June 21 to 23, with a total of 36,242 participants. On July 3, the revised answer key for CUET UG 2023 was released on the official website, eliminating 156 questions from the previous answer key. The NTA also updated the answer key as needed, particularly for the Hindi exam's different shifts and exams related to Business Studies and Accountancy. Subject matter experts will carefully review the raised issues and create a final answer key.
The final scores for CUET UG 2023 will be determined using the NTA's final answer key. The CUET UG 2023 exam was conducted from May 21 to June 23, except for June 3 and 4.
