DU Admissions 2023: Over 2 Lakh Registrations Recorded For UG Programmes

The application window for registration under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2023 for undergraduate admissions at Delhi University has begun. So far, over 2 lakh registrations have been received by the institution. According to official data, the CSAS portal has registered 2,18,355 candidates, out of which 1,54,645 have submitted the CSAS DU application form 2023, while 63,710 have not.

To access the CSAS application portal, candidates can use their registered Central University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG)-2023 application number. Admission decisions will be based on the CUET results from 2023 and other eligibility requirements established by the university. The National Testing Agency (NTA) recently conducted the Common University Entrance Test-Undergraduate exams for the year 2023. The CUET UG results are expected to be officially announced on July 8, as reported. Candidates can visit the official website cuet.samarth.ac.in to view the results.

The cutoff scores for various courses in 2023 may vary depending on the relevant categories. For example, the predicted cutoff range for the UR category for MA English and M.Sc is expected to be between 2.5 and 4.5, while the anticipated cutoff range for Chemistry is expected to be between 1.5 and 3.5. Based on these cutoff scores, candidates will be considered eligible for admission into various programs offered by the central universities involved.

The final phase exam, conducted from June 21 to 23, saw a total of 36,242 individuals participating. On July 3, the revised answer key for CUET UG 2023 was made available on the official website. This revised version eliminated a total of 156 questions from the previous answer key. Additionally, the NTA updated the answer key as necessary, particularly for the Hindi exam's different shifts and the exams for Business Studies and Accountancy. Subject matter experts will carefully examine the issues raised and subsequently create a final answer key. The final scores for the CUET UG 2023 will be determined using the NTA's final answer key. The CUET UG 2023 exam was conducted from May 21 to June 23, except for June 3 and 4.
