Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Age: Minimum age requirement is 17 years, with a maximum limit usually around 26 years. Some companies may hire individuals up to the age of 30 or older.
  2. Height: Minimum height requirement is typically 5 feet, 2 inches or taller.
  3. Weight: Weight should be proportionate to body type, with no major health issues.
  4. Eyesight: Good eyesight with a minimum eye power of 6/9.

Responsibilities of an Air Hostess:

  1. Welcoming passengers, providing pre-flight briefings, and assisting with seating arrangements.
  2. Resolving passenger issues and ensuring their comfort throughout the flight.
  3. Serving food and beverages, and attending to hospitality duties during the journey.
  4. Compiling a comprehensive flight report, including any incidents or problems encountered.
  5. Providing first aid to passengers as needed, with proper training in medical assistance.

Air Hostess Courses After 12th:

  1. 1-year diploma courses in air hostess training.
  2. Certificate courses ranging from 3 to 6 months or 6 months to 1 year.
  3. Enrollment in 2- or 3-year aviation programs for comprehensive training.

Salary Prospects:

  • Starting salary ranges from Rs 45,000 to 50,000 per month.
  • With experience, air hostesses can earn Rs 2–2.5 lakh per month.
