Draft ready for implementation of new education policy
Employment News-Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University has prepared a draft ordinance for the implementation of minimum uniform curriculum in the undergraduate courses as per the new education policy. To invite suggestions on the draft, it has been put on the WhatsApp group of the directors and heads of departments of the residential unit and the WhatsApp group of the principals of the affiliated colleges. You can give suggestions on this till 5 pm on Saturday evening.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai said that according to the new education policy, the conduct of the curriculum will be as per the ordinance. In which how the students will be admitted, how the classes will be conducted, what will be the system of examination and how will the marksheet and degree be given, all these provisions are there. He informed that a five-member committee has prepared the draft. Dean Research Prof. Ajay Taneja, IET Director Prof. VK Saraswat, Professor of Mathematics Department. Sanjeev Kumar, Principal of St. John's College Dr. SP Singh, Assistant Registrar Examination Pawan Kumar.
In-charge Vice Chancellor said that good suggestions will be included in the draft. It will be placed in the Academic Council and Executive Council of the University. After that the draft proposal will be sent to the Raj Bhavan. Once approved, the ordinance will be ready. Accordingly, arrangements will be made for admission, studies, examination and results in undergraduate courses. In the draft itself, instructions have been given regarding vocational courses.

. There will be a system of 75 percent external and 25 percent internal assessment.
. There will be semester examination and Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) will be applicable.
. One year certificate course. Students can complete it in four years.
. Diploma certificate is to be obtained after two years of studies, for this he can take three years also.
. In the third year, the students have to get the degree, for this he can take three more years.
