- Candidates must hold a Graduation degree with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard or a Bachelor's degree with Statistics as a subject.

- Graduation in any stream with Statistics as a subject from a recognized university is required.

- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university is necessary for eligibility in the CGL Examination, 2026.
