Registration Process: Parents can register their children for admission starting from April 30, 2024, by visiting the official website edudel.nic.in. Follow these steps to complete the registration process:
- Visit the Official Website: Head to edudel.nic.in.
- Access the Admission Portal: Click on the Delhi EWS Admission 2024-25 link on the homepage.
- Fill the Application Form: Provide all necessary information in the application form.
- Submit the Form: After filling the form, submit it online.
- Payment: Pay the registration fee through the specified mode.
- Download Application Form: Optionally, download and print the application form for your records.
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for EWS admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Child's age must be within the specified range for different classes.
- Pre-school/Nursery: 3 to 5 years
- Pre Primary/KG: 3 to 6 years
- Class 1: 5 to 7 years
- Permanent residency in Delhi.
- Family income should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh per annum.
Reservation and Lottery System: As per the guidelines, 25% of seats in private schools are reserved for EWS and Children with Special Needs (CWSN). These seats will be allocated through a computerized lottery system. The draw is scheduled for May 20, 2024.
