Exam Overview: CUET UG serves as the gateway for admission to bachelor courses across various central universities, state universities, private universities, and deemed to be universities. Notable institutions such as Delhi University, Lucknow University, Banaras Hindu University, and Allahabad University accept CUET UG scores.

Important Dates: The CUET UG 2024 exam is scheduled to take place between May 15 to 31, accommodating the large number of applicants over several days.

Changes Introduced for CUET UG 2024: This year, several changes have been introduced to enhance the examination process and accommodate candidates more effectively:

  1. Hybrid Mode Examination: The exam will be conducted in a hybrid mode, allowing candidates from rural areas to take the exam closer to their homes. It will be held daily in three shifts: 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2 pm, and 4 pm to 5.30 pm.

  2. OMR Sheets for Popular Subjects: Subjects with higher registrations will be conducted using OMR sheets instead of the Computer Based Test (CBT) format. Additionally, the use of various schools, colleges, and educational institutions as exam centres will benefit candidates from rural and remote areas.

  3. Reduction in Subject Options: Unlike previous years where candidates could choose up to 10 subjects, this year they will only be able to select six subjects. This change aims to streamline the allocation of examination centres. The six test papers will include three domain subjects, two languages, and one general subject.
