Exam Details

  • Exam Dates: July 25, 26, and 27, 2024
  • Shifts:
    • First Shift: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
    • Second Shift: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

The answer key was made available until August 11, 2024, with the last date for raising objections having passed.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

  • For General, EWS, and OBC Candidates: 33% for both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor positions.
  • For PwD, SC, and ST Candidates: 25% of the minimum percentage required for eligibility in both JRF and Assistant Professor roles.

  2. Find the Result Link: Look for the link to download the CSIR UGC NET 2024 result on the homepage.

  3. Enter Required Details: Input your application number, date of birth, and the security code displayed on the page.

  4. Login: Click on ‘Login’ to access your result.

  5. View and Download: The result will be displayed on your screen. Download and save it for future reference. It’s advisable to take a printout of the result for record-keeping.

About CSIR UGC NET Exam

The CSIR UGC NET is an examination for determining eligibility for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor/Lectureship positions. The test consists of five papers:

  • Life Sciences
  • Chemical Sciences
  • Mathematical Sciences
  • Physical Sciences
  • Earth Sciences

Each paper carries 200 marks and is conducted in both English and Hindi. The exam comprises subjective and multiple-choice questions to be completed in a three-hour duration.
