CM Gehlot took review meeting of Higher Education Department, 1000 more posts of college teachers

Employment News-Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that youth in the state should get quality higher education with a view to prepare excellent human resource. For this, the officials should prepare such a strong mechanism, which ensures effective compliance of UGC and other parameters in all colleges. Apart from giving approval for recruitment of 1000 more posts of college lecturers, he also approved a budget of Rs 200 crore for the construction of new colleges.

Gehlot (CM Ashok Gehlot) was addressing the review meeting of the Higher Education Department at the Chief Minister's residence on Wednesday. He said that keeping in mind the career building of the youth, it is our top priority that the standard of higher education in the state should be top notch. He said that regular inspection of colleges should be ensured. The Chief Minister said that daily activities of colleges can also be monitored through online platforms.

Gehlot directed that in order to maintain the quality of education in state colleges, speed up the process of recruitment and promotion on vacant posts. He said that through the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, the ongoing recruitment process for about 1000 posts of college teachers should be completed soon. At the same time, he gave instructions to start the process soon, while approving the recruitment of 1000 more posts. He said that an effective policy should also be made for transfers in higher education.
